i’ve been thinking about this heavily recently. i feel extremely convicted when i eat or drink something that i know is harmful for my body. i can’t drink soda, eat fast food, junk food, even processed snacks. i’ve reached a point where id rather not eat at all if i know it’ll be harmful for my body. it’s really hard for me to respect someone that purposely eats or drinks things that they are aware of how harmful it is to their bodies. why isn’t this a point of conversation at church?

so in leviticus it does make a distinction between clean and unclean foods…but that was under the law..After jesus came we are no longer under the law we have a new covenant and in mark Jesus says it’s not what we eat that defiles us and declared all foods clean. So yes as a follower of christ u can eat anything as long as you pray over it. I personally still would avoid Pork but everything else is up for grabs 💯

The better question is, should you eat everything?

If it’s to the glory of God. Yes.

It’s a personal conviction, eat what you want but be mindful of what you eat. the scripture from 1 Corinthians 6:12 you have the right to do anything but not everything is beneficial. listen to your body but most importantly allow God to direct how you eat. another thing don’t make food your idol as with anything that is not God :) hope this helps!
