I have this theory about family photography and how certain generations demand certain things. Boomers like perfection—everyone well behaved, well dressed/groomed. Gen X enjoyed candid/documentary images(and started the boom in documenting your own family in earnest). Millenials swung back to a new type of perfection—styled/editorial.
