Went to my local Walmart today and was pleased to see more human cheeks at checkout. However it seems they were training every single one so the lines were huge and the newbies were very stressed out trying to learn on the job. The poor guy ahead of me was charged $60 for a little pack of sliced ham so they had to start over. Nice to see them hiring real people again but why on earth would there be trainees on every line at once?
