I was sat admiring this tree when an old Italian man dismounted his bike declaring it the best tree in Brindisi and insisting I had my picture taken with it. It was the first time I’d spoken to a person IRL for days and I sort of forgotten how. But it was a great tree. It’s a carob. I really love trees. This one would have many stories to share.
