So I have thought about her and this baby for many years but it was before the internet, computers, and DNA. So last year, 2023, a niece of mine did a DNA test with 23 and me. They told her that she had a cousin born in 1969, and he was searching for his birth parents. As a result I connected, it was all positive, a very nice experience. The reason I post this is maybe the mother is still out there and would like to meet her son. Some information below

About 5 years ago, my oldest brother found us. My grandfather had forced my mother to give him up for adoption. She was 15 when he was born. This was the early 1960’s. She went on to have 8 more children. I’m number 6 of 9. We always knew there was a number 1 brother out there in the world somewhere. Imagine his surprise when he retired and finally went looking for his birth fam to learn he had 8!!!!! siblings. So now, we’re 10, because, of course, we adopted his adopted sister Jayne, too!
