Went to have breakfast at my favorite cafe. Had a small conversation with the elderly couple sitting at the table beside mine. When I got up to leave to give my table to another elderly couple, the women said to me, see you later It is the most Canadian goodby going, I’ve had it said to me exiting planes, taxis, hotels, restaurants across the country by people I will never see again who I have no idea who they are. It never fails to crack me up!
