This Spanish speaking lady (born in the US) with very dark features kept insisting she wasn’t Black or Afro anything and that she was “Spanish”. All while trying to look down on the other women in the group who looked like her, were Spanish speaking and some who had lighter features and some said they were Black or Afro-Colombian, etc. We told her there’s no way she is Spanish because Spanish is a language. She kept insisting she was not Black but Spanish as she spoke through her tears.🙄
