I lived in Osaka for nearly five years, and it felt like home from the moment I arrived. People in Osaka are genuinely warm and ready to lend a hand, even to strangers. I’ll never forget the time I fell off my bike. Within moments, a group of people had gathered around me, helping me back to my feet and making sure I was okay. Another time, I was shopping at Oasis supermarket and ran into a bit of trouble because of my limited Japanese. (2)
