My biggest issue with The Last Jedi seems to be a lot different with other people's. Some might call it the writing, or the director just not 'getting' SW, but in the end it's that the whole movie revolves around one premise: "chase them until they run out of gas". It's like the writers forgot that the characters could just get on the interstellar phone and call in a couple of ships to jump in front of the rebels...
