So I've been wanting to get back into digital art and animation and rebuild my portfolio for ages now. But my main issue is that my computer is pretty old, the software I use is either old or a free alternative that's not considered "industry standard", and I currently can't afford new tech or software due to struggling to find other work on the side. Has anyone else had this same dilemma? And is it possible to build a professional enough looking portfolio when you're on a budget?
