was Maestro less than Oscar worthy? was Bradley Cooper's Bernstein nose prosthetic slightly racist? well yes and yes, but I'm still loopily singing "Tonight Tonight I hope I sleep tonight" to myself as a 7:30p lullaby after my 4:30a call this morning so honestly all is forgiven (and Carey Mulligan is a dream even in the fictional Leonard Bernstein movie so not everything sucks)
