Nothing scary happened to me wasn’t because nothing scary happened. It was because I wasn’t scared when it did *but I really should have been*. The late night bus ride when I was cornered till he got bored of my passiveness. The night I was drugged at a house party but partner at the time realized & took me home so nothing happened. The time I was rage spit on for not smiling back but his buddy intervened because they were running late. It was all pure luck that none of it escalated into fear
