Was just thinking - it took me about 7 years of mixing everyday to become good at it. And I was self taught! Imagine the things you have to learn? A DAW, conpression, EQ, phasing, saturation, bus processing, automation, sidechaining, parallel processing. The list goes on. It’s a huge learning curve. Huge. But once it clicks, it clicks for life. It will take years to get good because you need experience to make good MIXING decisions. I used to be awful at it, but I worked at it. KEEP PRACTICING!
