Jock wid be the generic term. Wi hae Weegies, Sheep Shaggers, Heelin Heuchs 'n Teuchters ti name a few. None o' us tak offence. Wir built o' sterner stuff up here wi a thick skin. Ye have ti hae wi the s**t weather we get. 😉

Not particularly. However I find having been referred to as ‘Jock’ in Engurland, I reply and call an Englishman ‘Rupert’ they have a real hissy fit. 🤭🤭🏴🏴

I would be offended yep. No one in Scotland I know would ever call themselves Jock - or refer to their mate/pal as Jock. Unless it's your actual name! (older version of John) Now it's used by someone outside of Scotland to be offensive. It is in no way the same as Scouser, Brummie, Geordie, as some have stated in the comments!?

Only if it’s not his name.
