I hate turning down gigs, but I'm not willing to play with problematic bands or work with shady promoters. I try not to judge others who do, because I know how hard it is to say no to a good show. But for me, personally, it's not worth it. I'd feel like I was betraying people who were hurt, discriminated, or scammed.
