Story time: My 8 year old son with autism had his head stomped on 2 days ago at school in PE by a classmate. He was on the floor stretching. My son has a bruise and mark on his face. The school would not release the name of the student/parents. Is that legal? What would you do if it was your child? 1/2

I hear about these instances a lot since my husband works in the field and I try to imagine - what if my son wasn’t the teddy bear and he was the aggressor. I would only hope the family involved would show us some kind of grace, knowing how unpredictable autism can be. Nobody is winning here 😞
