Have all your backend set up! Your SOPs, a project management tool, a way to communicate and a handbook that is going to lay out everything excluding your job description and expectations. When everything is set in place, it will be a lot easier to bring on a someone.

Seen great replies in this thread. I’d add trust your intuition. It definitely needs to click between you and your VA, if she’s going to be your new right hand in business the relationship should be healthy, which starts with trust. If something doesn’t feel right orrm you have tendencies to micromanage, you have might as well not go ahead. When hiring a VA you should def have a sense of peace and confidence in your VA trusting that she competent and will meet, even exceeding your expectations♥️.
