I just moved from Tennessee to another state. I lived there for 12 years. It’s politically very conservative. Pros: most of the state is beautiful, there’s no state income tax, and promising industry/job market. Cons: Housing prices have gone up dramatically in the last 5 years, IMO their education is in crisis. If I were to move to Tennessee again I would live in the tri-cities (far northeast, near Virginia, KY, and NC) or Chattanooga.
