On the note of artists in my dms- it’s a little weird to me but I also get people need to make money. Personally I like to use artists I know or artists through word of mouth. And absolutely pay for the artwork. The cold dming just feels weird to me i guess. To each their own on that one 😊

Paid reviews = 🗑️ For paid services (cover artist, editor, etc), I'll usually at least give their profile a glance and see if it's up my alley. I'll follow if there's a chance I'll consider hiring them in the future.
