Companies that rely on an APS to the point it’s a barrier to candidate selection have lost the forest for the trees and there are so many out there. You don’t want to work for them. My partner was through 3 rounds of interviews for a position recently. She was hired and they were to the point where she had gotten her laptop and monitors and the APS they used had a mismatched date for one of her prior positions so they didn’t hire her. We are still sitting here with their computers, lol.
