One of my favorite Amazon Leadership Principles is Disagree and Commit. It says that if you don’t agree with a decision or have a different point of view, you’re not just encouraged, but obligated to share it. While conflict can be uncomfortable, respectfully surfacing disagreements and alternative viewpoints improves our thinking and help us get to better decisions.
