One time I was waiting at the shuttle stop in college while I was deep in my peak goth/metalhead era and some guy asked me what I was listening to. I told him “John Denver” He looked at me confused, and said “shiii, I thought you’d be listening to Hannibal Warts or something” It wasn’t until years later that I realized this man might have been trying to say “Cannibal Corpse”
