She was always going to end up the villain. She has a savior complex. It was easy in Essos where she went around freeing slaves. In Westeros there were no slaves to free. She wasn't easily accepted by the Westerosi and that drove her crazy. Couldn't stand it that Sansa wouldn't trust her right away. She just couldn't live with not being adored by the masses.
