Today’s Shower Thought: The reason I dislike Extremists—whether they be religious, political, educational, or otherwise—is because to them, Joy is not in their vocabulary. Their version of Joy is a sadistic joy of bullying, of oppression. The false joy of “me first.” They don’t have true Joy in their lives. The Joy of generosity of spirit and of giving. The Joy of laughing (even at their own expense) or being silly.
