I just realized, as I sometimes do when I start looking back at my memories, that things and issues that were priorities to me when I was 30 years old are not concerns to me now, now that I am more than twice that age, and conversely, that things that are dear to me today are things I would take for granted and not even thought of when I was 30+ years ago. Nevertheless, I have been blessed by God, with whom I have a direct relationship through Christ my saviour-this I know to be the constant.
