Watched “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes” with my mother. The parallels between the film & what’s happening in Palestine is heartbreaking. We read these worlds of fiction on paper - and to have that chilling and horrifying realisation that it’s not really fiction. It’s unfolding right now. We see time and again how genocide and horror can be replicated on others by those who once were oppressed. Humanity needs a permanent ceasefire now. 🍉
