I saw a tik tok of someone flipping through the pages of their fully annotated book with like 50 different colored tabs and scribbles all over the pages. Why do allat when you could just enjoy the book and highlight important things/quotes? It's a book, not an art project 🤷‍♀️ I'm a fan of reading classics and I'm able to remember a decent amount of imagery, quotes, events, and theme without having a bunch of tabs to remind me.
