Saw The Boy and the Heron last night. I am not prepared to fully review, but I didn’t stop think about it all night and then I dreamed about it too. The only word I could think of last night was “weird” but that doesn’t do it justice and it’s much more complicated. My friend described it as “Jungian” which is much more appropriate. It was mythical and dreamy with wild worlds and of course new small cute creatures. If you’re a studio ghibli fan, obviously a must-see.
