Consolidating my belongings to create space for a new year… but struggling mightily with old papers/articles from graduate school a decade+ago. I was a hopeful academic then. As it is not my current path, and I have not opened this box in years, it does not make sense to keep them but they still represents a hard fought for identity I grew up never believing I was entitled to.
