I love peering through the windows of a Mexican home. I love seeing scenes of the cramped space of Abuela’s home. The harsh fluorescent lighting, ollas or pots overflowing with traditional pozole & tamales, the flimsy Christmas table cloth that barely stays on from the dollar store, and the roaring laughter of cousins and tias gathered for the holidays. And the grin on Abuela’s face taking it all in. And of course the drama of old timey love songs. It’s Navidad ❤️
