Can someone please help me out here? I am a quasi-intelligent senior citizen, born and raised in America and I really thought I had a basic understanding of our justice system. As I thought you could only appeal a verdict from any court if you could show reasonable proof that the proceedings were somehow unfair. But now I see everyone appealing based simply on the fact they didn’t accept the verdict. If this is true, why have more than one court? Just let the Supreme Court decide all cases.
