As the takes roll in about Vision Pro and its sales results, maintain awareness that the company that runs this platform has been setting billions of fire for years to bring a competing product to market, unsuccessfully so thus far. Maybe the Vision Pro isn’t ready for prime time, maybe it’s priced out of reach, maybe Apple missed the mark, etc. But certainly Meta has great interest in some or all of those things being perceived as true and is all too happy to amplify that.
