(1/7) Last week I took the last step in my 23-year naturalization journey, and in a packed courtroom in downtown Nashville, together with immigrants from around the world, became an American citizen. It was a day I’ll never forget. But for the longest time, it was a day I wasn’t sure would ever happen.

幾秒內	Mark Daniel markdaniel	I moved to the US from Canada on Sept. 15, 2000. I didn’t totally understand what I was doing, or where it would lead. But I was following my dreams and walking through doors I believed GOD was opening for me. I wasn’t content to stay on a safe path or to rely on my network home in Canada. I wanted to explore the world. I wanted to live in a city with a strong creative community, where I could meet, make friends, and work with creative people more talented than me.
