I just can not not talk about books. For the last couple of years I was on an award committee that precluded me talking about eligible books. Now I’m reading widely again. Today I finished Alexandra Bracken’s superb YA fantasy novel Silver in the Bone. Great. It has connections to Arthurian fantasy, interesting magic systems, just a tiny bit of romance, and world building good enough for me to look for the next book when it comes out. I’m looking forward to recommending it at #outwestbooks
