Just ordered some “lunch” (I work overnights in Manhattan). A grilled cheese and bacon sandwich on rye. Two cans of diet cola. A side order a french fries. A piece of layer cake. $37.25, not including tip for the delivery guy. Now I know I am not that old that I’ve lost touch with what things cost today. But I also know that it wasn’t anywhere near this bad before the pandemic.
