I was visiting my mum in hospital the other day. Every now and then, the iPhone belonging to the elderly lady she was sharing the room with would briefly erupt with heavily treated guitars/drums. She kept gasping and apologising to us, so I asked if she needed help. She passed her phone to me, saying she didn’t understand why it was happening and could I please make it stop? On her home screen was “Songs Of Innocence” by U2. The only album on her phone.
