To the people moving here and leaving because NY is ‘more dangerous than they were anticipating’ good riddance to all of y’all. Why move some where w/o intentions of longevity? A lot of yall utilize NYC for what it offers but don’t give back at all. And when It doesn’t live up to your aesthetic, you bitch and moan while being non solution oriented. Who does that help?

But the luxury (and privilege) to shit on this city when you had no intentions to make it better is astounding. New York has always been my home. To see so many transplants ready to throw the city away when they had no intentions of actually building community here or truly calling NY home is wild to me.
