Do what makes you happy. Flight attendants are basically servers on a plane. They only get paid for flight time, so if you have to be at the airport 1-2 hours before take off, you’re not getting paid for those hours. They do get free flights but those are standby. Research it before you make a decision. You could work for an airline in a different compacity but still receive the same benefits as a flight attendant.
