Opinion: Lily Gladstone is obviously an amazing actor. But Emma Stone was given a better script and therefore more opportunity to shine. As an individual event, I think the Oscar went to the right person. As part of a larger pattern, it really sucks that Native actors aren't given better and more frequent opportunities to shine. That's the thing that needs to change.
