So another volcanic eruption has begun in Iceland this evening in a similar place to the one at the beginning of February. I have read that the Svartsengi power plant has been evacuated and Grindavik is in the process of evac. Hopefully this eruption remains a safe distance away from both. I find volcanic eruptions to be a fascinating and beautiful force of nature but they are also one of the most destructive things on the planet. Despite this, my dream is to experience one in person some day.
