I’ve never been a huge April Fools person, at least not since I turned ten. In an era of AI and a candidate for Presidency declaring everything he doesn’t like “fake news,” I think it’s time to retire the concept. It’s mostly people clowning on people for believing entirely plausible narratives intended as jokes, or actual grifters. Can we not?
