These are great without the alternating sides. They are called lean in lateral raises and load the eccentric(stretched) part of the deltoid. Absolutely best gains for shoulders I've ever made

Tried these last week. 10-10 would recommend. Like anything new for me I have to go light and learn to feel the exercise.
