I still can’t wrap my head around that so many influencers faking it, buying followers, views, likes, and even forwards (I didn’t know this was even possible) and still securing brand deals. On the other hand, if you are not doing these and just relying on organic reach and engagement, your engagement looks crappy and brands would be less likely to pay your rates. This is so unfair and social media platforms need to find a solution to this.

We enjoy what we do and feel better being honest. Buying followers/likes to me is my newest ick. People do it for brand deals etc. At the end of the day….if buying followers makes you feel better, then so be it. I get a better nights sleep knowing I don’t fake it for my followers.
