When the night’s stars dim, the salty aroma of potato chips lingering in the air, mini chubby cola in my hand, cool and sweet. The phone screen flickers, I scroll through my friends’ updates, watching their lives unfold, as if I am part of it too. Yet, the bed’s warmth beckons, soft and inviting, I know I should rest, yet I’m reluctant to leave this moment. So, I continue sitting on the sofa, eyelids growing heavy, the night’s silence enveloping me, perhaps, just a little longer. 🌙
