I'm feeling so down lately. People around me irl just can't understand why I'm so upset about AI, and I can't even express myself why it feels so hurt. The unethical of AI is a problem, but it way more than that. It's sad because many people just don't care, and people just like what is cheap and fast. And people who think that it's the new trend, new evolution, use it or being left behind. And people who told me why pick a fight that you can not win? I feel like artists are so alone in this...

35 分鐘內	incaseyouart vic.putinski	I feel the same :( im trying hard to remain optimistic, but the surge of AI coupled with the collapse of the animation industry is such a powerful double-whammy. I feel like all artists and at least their close friends understand the problem, but yeah... most non-creatives don't get it.
一小時內	Aurelia Reina aureinart	i had written a long answer but i’m dumb and deleted it 😭 but in short what i said is that even though i sometimes feel the same way, i still hold hope that human artists won’t be replaced and instead will evolve and keep on creating while A1 will be used as an aid the same way it’s been used for years in animation to automate some tedious processes, just like it happened with the birt of photography and artists feared that it would replace them while it actually became its own thing!

I agree that it promotes cheap and easy, and since money is involved AI is not just going to go away. I agree that we need to promote real life artists. I do think this might be an evolutionary step. AI wasn’t created with intention to replace artists. It’s just one step in its learning process. My hope/belief is that AI will move on from things humans love doing.
2 天內	Pastel/Shiloh 🎗 pastel.gothboy	I’m convinced its a fad since: if someone tries selling me an AI Art shirt… I could just (theoretically) go make my own. For everything that matters, only an artist can do it if someone wants to make a profit. At least thats my logic. Who wants to pay $13 for something they could theoretically make themselves? For free? I’m sure eventually people will realize art actually has some purpose once “everyone can do it” (so to speak)
