For real, we need to have 1 standard for all. If the mantle of Batman, Robin, Green Goblin, etc etc can be passed on, then all mantles/nicknames/monikers can be passed on. If you don’t want mantles to be passed on to new people then no mantles should be passed on, as in, once a hero or villain dies their nickname or moniker also dies. No more double standards. The only time this wouldn’t apply is if they use their real name obviously.
