4 years ago I was at a point where I knew meditation would help me but I was so stuck in fight or flight I struggled to keep my eyes closed every time I tried to meditate. And it was so frustrating!!!
What I would say now to that version of me then … don’t force the sitting down w your legs crossed meditation lovey, get outside. Get your hands in the dirt. Grow something. Paint something. Dance your heart out. Those are all acts of meditation … Invite the stillness in through your creativity.
