Last week, we took wife's sewing machine in for repair. She got an e-mail later the same day advising that it was ready. So today we drove out (40 miles one-way) to get it - but it wasn't ready. They agreed that the e-mail was from them (wife had it on her phone) although their automated tracking system had no record of sending it. And they couldn't explain how the erroneous message could have been sent from their automated service tracking system. Sounds like buggy software.
