My women's college has a thing called 'take back the night' where we stand against sexual assault and sexual violence against women and quite literally take back the night time (since women don't feel safe to be out at night traditionally.) people chalked things all over, like 'no means no', 'mister, keep your hands off my sister', 'don't touch me', etc. and let me tell you, it is incredibly healing as a survivor of assault to see other women standing up for their right to exist safely. 🩷
