The "Well Hamas are terrorists" is simply a weak excuse for indiscriminate killing of civilians. Palestinian support for Hamas only increases during Israeli attacks. That would also be to assume that Palestinians support the militant arm of Hamas, which is disconnected from the equally named political party. Which would be false. Public opinion polls in Palestine were against militant action against Israel. Israel doesn't care. They don't want peace, they want Palestinians dead.
